Construction Professional - Carpentry Focus

Archadeck Outdoor Living, North America's premier designer and builder of custom outdoor living spaces, including decks, porches,  hardscape patios, outdoor kitchens, attached roof structures and shade structures, seeks experienced and dedicated Construction Professionals with a strong foundation in carpentry.

This pivotal role is responsible for the successful execution of residential building and remodeling projects, ensuring the final product adheres meticulously to contract specifications, exceeds client expectations, complies with all relevant building codes, and aligns with Archadeck's quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess demonstrable carpentry expertise in residential construction, exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, a robust work ethic, and a commitment to following established operational processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must have a comprehensive understanding and precise execution of construction drawings and specified details.
  • Must have thorough knowledge of deck building, attached roof structure construction, shade structure construction and outdoor kitchen construction.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of construction drawings against sales design documents to verify accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Verify the accuracy of material deliveries against project take-offs and promptly communicate any discrepancies to the project manager to facilitate timely resolution and maintain uninterrupted workflow.
  • Collaborate with the project manager to establish and adhere to project schedules.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, ensuring daily site clean-up and strict adherence to safety protocols.
  • Cultivate and maintain positive and professional relationships with clients.
  • Escalate all project-related issues and concerns to the project manager for effective resolution.
  • Proactively communicate with the project manager as necessary to address immediate concerns and ensure project continuity.
  • Adhere strictly to the terms and conditions outlined in the Subcontractor Agreement.
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Professional and well-maintained personal presentation.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated willingness and capacity to learn and consistently follow documented processes.
  • Proven ability to interpret and execute detailed specifications and independently adhere to quality assurance checklists.
  • Extensive and verifiable background in sound carpentry techniques relevant to residential construction.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural plans and verifying material take-offs.
  • Competence in laying out footings and foundations accurately.
  • Ability to accurately determine and manage site elevations.
  • Must be able to supply proof of current liability and workers comp insurance coverage or proof of workers comp waiver with the state of Colorado.

 
Compensation: $100.00 - $120.00 per hour
